Congress Will Fall Apart Within 3 Months: Former CM Bommai

Haveri: Former Chief Minister and BJP candidate from the Haveri Lok Sabha constituency Basavaraj Bommai has predicted a split in the Congress party within three months after Narendra Modi is elected Prime Minister for a third term.

Addressing the media in Haveri, he stated, "After the results of this election, there will be a significant shift in state politics."

When questioned about the numbers required for a change in the state government, he remarked, "Numbers are not important in politics. When there was a rift between Indira Gandhi and Devaraj Urs, overnight everyone shifted their allegiance to Gundu Rao."

Regarding the Lok Sabha elections, he expressed confidence in the BJP's performance.

"The BJP will secure 25 seats in the state and we are confident of winning more than 400 seats at the Centre," he declared.
