Krodhi Nama Ugadi forecasts overall development in AP

Vijayawada: Krodhi Nama Telugu New Year Ugadi 2024 predicted development of Andhra Pradesh in all fields, in particular, agriculture, education and medicine.

The state government organised the state level Ugadi almanac reading programme in Vijayawada on Tuesday. Special chief secretary (Culture) Rajat Bhargava initiated the programme saying Ugadi is a symbol of Telugu people's culture and traditions.

Endowments commissioner S. Satyanarayana, NTR district collector S. Dilli Rao, and Sri Durga Malleswara Swamivarla Devasthanam executive officer K.S. Rama Rao were present.

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) and Sri Durga Malleswara Swamyvarla Devasthanam panchangams were unveiled on the occasion.

Vedic scholar Kappagantu Subbarama Somayaji Siddhanti started the Panchanga Sravana saying Sri Krodhi Nama Ugadi forecasts growth in the fields of agriculture, education, medical health, and socioeconomic and commercial sectors. Means of livelihood will be positive, dairy industry will flourish and the farmers will be well-off.

Somayaji Siddhanti explained the results from Aries to Pisces on the occasion.

Special CS Dr. Rajat Bhargava said like Ugadi Pachadi is a mixture of Shadruchulu, every human being will see development in different forms. He said as elections are going to be held on May 13, everyone should exercise their vote in the spirit of democracy.

Endowments commissioner Satyanarayana said Telugu people everywhere in the world celebrate Ugadi in a grand manner. It is their responsibility to bring to limelight Telugu culture and traditions for the future generations.

Collector Dilli Rao said each ingredient in the Ugadi pachadi is a symbol of unique feeling and experience.

On the occasion, Vedic scholars from various temples of the state were felicitated. Dance performances by students of Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao Sangeeta Nritya Kalasala were a special attraction on the day.
