Modi Heaps Praise on Pawan at NDA Meeting in Delhi

VIJAYAWADA: Heaping praise on NDA alliance partner and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi On Friday lauded him as ‘Aandhi’ (storm).

Addressing the NDA parliamentary party meeting at the Samvidhan Sadan (old parliament building) in Delhi, Narendra Modi said, “Yeh Dikthe Pawan. Yeh Pawan Nahi Hai, Aandhi Hai (The person you see, Pawan, he is not just wind but also storm).”

The video clip of Modi praising the actor and politician went viral, with JS cadres and supporters widely sharing the video across media platforms.

On Friday, NDA constituents unanimously elected Narendra Modi as its leader, paving the way for him to be Prime Minister for the third consecutive term.

Speaking at the meeting, the Jana Sena chief hailed Modi as a true inspiration to the entire nation and said he as PM succeeded in the ethnic integration of all Indians from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and from Kamakhya to Dwaraka.

“It is an honour for the Jana Sena to support and re-elect Narendra Modi as the Leader of NDA, who made the country proud in front of the world,” Pawan said.

“During 2014 election meetings, I wished Narendra Modi to continue as PM for 15 years for the overall development of the nation. Today my wish is being realised with Modi all set to take charge as the PM for the third term. I believe the aspiration of every Indian to see a developed India under Modi’s - 2047 vision will be realised,” Pawan said.

Stating that Narendra Modi had actively campaigned for the NDA alliance and paved the way for the alliance's landslide victory in Andhra Pradesh, the JS chief said, “The TD, JS and BJP parties have won 91 per cent of the Assembly and Parliament seats in AP.”
