Teach Vijayasai Reddy a Lesson, Vemireddy Tells Nellore Voters
Tirupati: Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy, the NDA’s candidate for the Nellore Parliamentary constituency, has launched a scathing attack on YSRC MP V. Vijayasai Reddy, accusing him of looting Visakhapatnam and now eyeing Nellore for the same. He urged the Nellore voters to teach Vijayasai Reddy a lesson in the upcoming elections.
During a road show in Kovvur town, accompanied by the party's MLA candidate for Kovvur segment, Vemireddy Prasanthi Reddy, Prabhakar criticised Vijayasai for allegedly building a private university in Vizag through unrighteous means. "Vijayasai Reddy calls us millionaires. But he is not acknowledging that the money we earned is through rightful means, while his money came from corruption," he said.
Labelling the YSRC nominee for the Nellore MP seat as a non-local, Vemireddy claimed that after the elections, Vijayasai Reddy would disappear from the region, leaving the people behind. The Vemireddy couple promised to create employment opportunities for the youth and ensure that the pending salaries of workers at the Kovvur Sugar Factory would be paid if the NDA voted to power at the Centre and the state.
"Chandrababu Naidu-led state government is coming to power. With Chandrababu being the brand ambassador for development, the state will achieve significant development with the NDA's double-engine government," they said. Prasanthi Reddy expressed anguish at witnessing the hardships of villagers firsthand during the 45-day election campaign across nearly 85 villages in the Kovvur segment. She promised to transform Kovvur into an agricultural hub where crops would thrive and assured that every promise made during the elections would be fulfilled.
