Kurnool: In a desperate plea for relief, residents of Pandipadu village in Kallur mandal staged a dawn protest on Tuesday.

Taking to the streets with empty pots and vessels, they highlighted the severe water crisis plaguing their village for the past two months. A woman expressed that they had not cast their votes and accused the authorities of failing to address the issue.

The villagers blame official negligence for their plight.

Demanding immediate action, the protesters urged the concerned authorities to find a swift resolution to their drinking water woes. They threatened to escalate the matter to higher forums if their pleas continue to fall on deaf ears.Frustration mounted as some villagers pointed out that a simple repair of the water supply pipeline could restore normalcy. This seemingly minor fix, they claim, could be completed within a few hours. Yet, the authorities' inaction has pushed them to the brink.
