Visakhapatnam: Minister of women, child welfare, and tribal welfare, Sandhya Rani, stated that the government is committed to the development of the state, highlighting the launch of the "Vision Andhra 2047" document. The minister participated in the Independence Day celebrations in Parvathipuram Manyam district on Thursday. She announced a systematic approach to development through a 100-day plan and a one-year plan tailored specifically for the district.
Sandhya Rani detailed various government initiatives aimed at enhancing public welfare, including the enhancement of NTR Bharosa pensions and the introduction of Anna Canteens to combat hunger among the poor. She reiterated the government's dedication to social welfare.
She further discussed agricultural initiatives, urging farmers to consider commercial crops and modern agricultural techniques to improve yield. Health initiatives were also addressed, including the establishment of blood banks and nutrition rehabilitation centers. The minister urged the community, especially the youth, to participate in blood donation drives to combat anemia, particularly among pregnant women.
