BRS MLA Alleges Congress-BJP Plot to Make Hyderabad a Union Territory

Khammam: BRS MLA T. Harish Rao on Friday alleged that the Congress and the BJP had conspired to make Hyderabad a Union Territory (UT) and continue the city as the common capital of the Telugu states for another 10 years. Speaking at an MLC bypoll meeting, he said the BRS had strongly opposed making Hyderabad the joint capital in the bifurcation Act. He said that the state could not develop without Hyderabad as its capital.
