Hyderabad: Revenue officials have totally ignored the survey of a land parcel at Vemireddy Enclave, Road No. 12, Banjara Hills, where an illegal construction is coming up.

GHMC commissioner Ronald Rose, around a month ago had written to the revenue department to survey the site where the illegal construction is underway, at Vemireddy Enclave, but they are yet to initiate the process.

Sources said the practice of officials ignoring the activities of BRS leaders when the party was in power was continuing even after a change of government.

Only after a survey by the revenue department will the authorities will get clarity about the survey number and the ownership title of the land in which the illegal building is being built in violation of the status quo orders issued by the Supreme Court.

While Hyderabad collector Anudeep Durishetty did not respond to this correspondent, Secunderabad revenue divisional officer R. Dashrath Singh said that he would take up the case and also sought from this correspondent the document by the GHMC seeking a survey.

At Vemireddy Enclave on Banjara Hills Road No. 12, a two-cellar-plus-five-floor structure is being built in the presence of V. Narasimha Reddy, BRS Nalgonda Lok Sabha seat contestant, with alleged support from BRS former Armoor legislator A. Jeevan Reddy. The building permit is issued in the name of Narasimha Reddy.

The building permission was illegally obtained for a fictitious piece of land, Survey No. 129/68 (paiki), whereas the constructions were going on on an encroached land parcel in Sy No. 129/52.
