Biker Duo Hit Traffic Cop, Flee With Camera

Hyderabad:A duo on a two-wheeler assaulted a traffic constable when he tried to stop them in Vithalwadi, Narayanguda, and fled with his body-worn camera, on Sunday. News of the incident became public on Tuesday. The duo was believed to be drunk.

Police said that when the constable attempted to stop the duo, the pillion-rider snatched the camera and the rider drove vanished into the narrow lanes of Vittalwadi towards Basheerbagh. Police were attempting to trace the vehicle through its registration number; however they believe that the number is fake.

Three Guards Held on Theft Charges in Jubilee Hills

Hyderabad:The police arrested three security guards for a theft at a house in Road No. 54, Jubilee Hills, and a stolen property receiver. They recovered gold and diamond ornaments worth ₹10 lakh and ₹5.97 lakh in cash from them.

The security guards were identified as Revu Suresh, Touti Subba Rao, and Aviti Palla Rao, while the receiver was identified as Yogesh Shanthilal Jain. Jubilee Hills ACP P. Venkatagiri stated that the accused had been absconding since July 18 this year.
