CID Arrests Man for 2015 Job Scam, Main Accused Still at Large

The Crime Investigation Department (CID) arrested one Vikas Khindar, 41, from Jalandhar, Punjab, on May 27 for cheating two persons of more than Rs 46.3 lakh in 2015.

Hyderabad: The Crime Investigation Department (CID) arrested one Vikas Khindar, 41, from Jalandhar, Punjab, on May 27 for cheating two persons of more than Rs 46.3 lakh in 2015. Five of the other seven accused have been arrested earlier; Only Accused No. 2 Amrinder Singh is absconding and is suspected to have fled the country.

The CID said one Singham Satish Reddy from the city and the other gang members promised two persons of jobs in Canada and took money from them. The victims were identified as Pawan Kumar from Armoor who paid Rs 25.8 lakh and Adarsh Kumar from Bheemgal who was cheated of Rs 20.51 lakh.

Cases against the accused were registered with the Armoor and Bheemgal police. When the accused failed to appear before the court, the case was shifted to the CID.
