Man electrocuted in Kamareddy

Nizamabada: A 53-year-old man was electrocuted at Tunkipally of Mohammadnagar mandal of Kamareddy district on Thursday while using an immersion road to heat bath water in his residence. The deceased, Rauthu Sailoo, was headed for Hyderabad.

Sailoo got up early in the morning and placed the immersion rod in a bucket of water when the incident occurred. Police were called in and they shifted the body for post-mortem at the government hospital in Banswada. Sailoo is survived by his wife, a son and a daughter.

Speaking to Deccan Chronicle, Nizamsagar sub-inspector K. Sudhakar said that Sailoo touched the water which resulted in the electrocution. The complaint was lodged by the victim’s son R. Satish.
