Police Nab Odisha Man with 62 kg Marijuana at Secunderabad Station

Hyderabad: The Secunderabad Railway Police Force on Monday took custody Chand Kumar Nayak of Gajapati district of Odisha for transporting 62 kg of dry marijuana from Mohana district of Odisha to Nanded district of Maharashtra state. He was caught on Platform No. 10 during a surprise check on platforms and trains at Secunderabad. RFP said Nayak was carrying the contraband, valued at about Rs 15.5 lakh, in two trolleys and three backpacks. Police said Nayak was a transporter. The other accused including Mihir and Chida of Odisha and three persons from Maharashtra, are absconding.
