Sangareddy woman, lover jailed for killing her kids

Hyderabad:A court on Thursday sent Rajitha, accused of killing her three children, and her boyfriend Shiva, for whom she allegedly committed the murders, to judicial remand.
The Sangareddy police accused Rajitha of murdering her children so that she could marry Shiva, her Class 10 batchmate. She had met Shiva after several years at a reunion and started an affair with him. Shiva had reportedly agreed to marry her but did not want the children.
After allegedly strangling her children, Rajitha claimed that the three had died due to food contamination.
Rajitha confessed to have committed an offence during the questioning. Police have obtained call data of Rajitha and Shiva Kumar and questioned them one by one as part of investigation. Based on PME reports, police questioned Rajitha explaining the reasons for the death of her three children.
Police also obtained Rajitha's WhatsApp calls, chat and call conversation in which she had regular contact with her boyfriend Shiva who assisted to kill her three children.
