Woman Killed, Husband Critically Injured in Shabad Road Accident

Hyderabad:The woman died and her husband was critically injured after a private bus hit their two-wheeler near Shabad at about 9 am on Thursday, Chevella police said. Chevella inspector Sridhar identified the victim as Manjula, 35, and the survivor as Ashok, residents of Kothapet.

Their vehicle was hit by a private bus carrying a marriage party from Shankarpally towards Achampet.

Manjula’s body was shifted to the Chevella Community Health Centre for postmortem. The bus driver was taken into police custody. A case was registered and further investigation is underway.
