Crocodile spotted in Tungabhadra at Nandavaram

Kurnool: A crocodile sighting in the Tungabhadra River at Nagaladinne on Wednesday drew crowds of spectators eager to catch a glimpse of the reptile. The water level in the river has risen due to four days of rainfall in the upper catchment areas, leading to an increase in the flow.
Locals believe that the crocodile might have been swept away by the flood waters from upstream areas. People crossing the Naguladinne bridge on the Andhra-Telangana border spotted the crocodile roaming in the middle of the river Farmers in the area have requested the officials to install warning boards on the riverbanks to caution people about the presence of crocodiles in the waterbody.
