Indore: In a controversial incident on Christmas, a food delivery agent in Indore was forced to remove his Santa Claus costume by members of the right-wing group Hindu Jagran Manch. A video of the incident, which has gone viral on social media, shows the delivery agent being confronted while he was on his way to deliver an order.
The Zomato delivery agent, dressed in a red Santa jacket and cap, was questioned an activisit of Hindu Jagran Manch. In the video, the activist is heard asking the agent why he was wearing the Santa Claus costume. "Do you ever go to people’s homes dressed as Lord Ram on Diwali?" he asked.
The delivery agent explained that he was wearing the costume as per his company's instructions, stating it was meant for promotional purposes during Christmas. However, the group member insisted that the attire sent the "wrong message" and questioned the agent's decision to comply.
