Leopard kills dog in Srisailam

Kurnool: A leopard killed a dog tied up at Nallabotula Mallikarjuna's residence in Srisailam Western Colony late Friday night. Mallikarjuna reported hearing a loud noise around 2 a.m. but only investigated in the morning, discovering the dog dead. Forest department officials, after inspecting the site, confirmed that a leopard was responsible for the attack. They are now implementing measures to contain the wild animal and have advised residents to stay indoors during the night.
