Hyderabad: The Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court at Nampally on Wednesday reserved the orders in the bail petitions filed by former Additional SPs Bhujanga Rao and Thirupathanna, accused in the phone tapping case.
Both of them filed bail petitions on the ground that the police had not filed a charge sheet so far which is to be filed within 90 days from the date of registration of FIR.
However, refuting the contentions of the petitioners, the public prosecutor on behalf of the police submitted to the court that the charge sheet was submitted to the court on June 10 only. But, due to some objections of the court, the charge sheet was not accepted by the court and it was re-submitted.
After hearing both sides, the court reserved the order.
