Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut has raised doubts about the stability of the union government, predicting potential disruptions before the completion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s current term. Speaking to reporters, Raut speculated that the government might not survive beyond 2026.

"I have doubts in my mind that the union government will survive after 2026. I think Modi will not complete his term, and if the union government becomes unsettled, it will have repercussions for Maharashtra as well," Raut remarked.
Raut's comments come amidst heightened political activity in Maharashtra and across the nation, sparking debates on the state’s future political dynamics in the event of instability at the center.
