Vijayawada: YSRC leaders Perni Venkataramaiah alias Perni Nani and Kodali Venkateswara Rao alias Kodali Nani have charged that Telugu Desam Party chief N. Chandrababu Naidu and his newly elected MLAs are encouraging attacks on YSRC leaders and cadres.

They accused police of totally failing in ensuring law and order in the society.
Speaking to media, the two Nanis declared that YSRC leaders will not tolerate attacks and will start taking legal action.
Perni Nani pointed out that even now, attacks by TD cadres on YSRC leaders and cadres are continuing, despite complaints to the President of India and AP Governor.
He pointed out that houses of Kodali Nani and former MLA Dr. Vallabhaneni Vamsi had been attacked by TD supporters in Krishna district on Friday. Two cars parked in front of the house had been damaged. TD cadres even tried to barge into the house.
He said the newly elected TD MLAs are orchestrating these attacks with the support of Chandrababu, who is restraining the state DGP and police from discharging their duties.
On his part, Kodali Nani said violence in the state has surpassed Bihar and UP. The attacks are being instigated by Chandrababu and his son Lokesh. He accused police of not registering their complaint against the TD goons.
Kodali Nani said they will visit various areas in Krishna district in the next two days to meet the injured cadre. "We will protect our party activists. We will visit the disturbed areas. If there is a law and order problem, police will be held responsible," he declared.
