Karimnagar: The management of the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) on Wednesday announced a free lifetime bus pass for the baby girl who was born at the Karimnagar bus station on Sunday.

It is to be noted here that the RTC management earlier had taken a decision to provide free bus passes to the children who are born either in state-run buses or at bus stations as a birthday gift.
At a programme held at Bus Bhavan in Hyderabad, TGSRTC managing director V.C. Sajjanar felicitated the officials and staff members of Karimnagar bus station who helped one Kumari, a migrant labour, in delivering the baby girl by covering her with sarees at the bus station on Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion, Sajjanar lauded the RTC staff on duty who were coming forward to help the people in emergency times and social service. CMO Dr Ravinder, joint director Apurva Rao, executive directors Munishekar and Krishnakanth, and chief personnel officer Usha Rani were also present at the programme.
