Skandagiri Temple to Host Mega Sri Vidya Koti Kumkuma Yagna

Hyderabad: The Sri Subramanyeshwara Swamy temple at Skandagiri, Secunderabad, will conduct the Sri Vidya Koti Kumkuma Archana Maha Yagna from August 11 to 13.

One crore mantras would be recited and one tonne of kumkuma would be used in the Mahapuja of Bhagawati Adi Shakti Raja Rajeshwari Lalitha Tripura Sundari Devi, according to a statement.

The three-day yagna is being performed seeking world peace and welfare of mankind.

In a statement, Rohit Kumar Singh, who is incharge of the yagna, said that a well-known seer, Abhishek Brahmachari from Kashi. had arrived to perform the special puja. Over 1,000 women from twin cities will take part in Anushtan and the Purna Ahuti will take place on August 13, he said.
