Telangana Girls BN NCC Secunderabad conducts first Annual Training Camp

Telangana: 1 Telangana Girls BN NCC, Secunderabad conducts it's first Annual Training Camp at Pallavi International School Gandipet, Rangareddy District, Fom 16th May to 25th May for the training year 2024-25.

The ATC -VI Camp started with 585 SW/JW cdts 8 associate NCC officers, army staff and civilian staff conducted by the able leadership of camp commandant Lt Col Sangeeta Kumari, commanding officer of 1 Telangana Girls BN NCC,assisted by the Dy commandant Maj Chamundi Mandadi the administrative officer, 1Telangana Girls BN NCC, under the aegis of NCC group headquarters Secunderabad.

 The camp was a mix of learning and fun with multi-faceted activities with physical training, Drill, Ceremonial Drill, Yoga, Meditation, Games like Throw Ball, Tug of War, 100mtrs Run, Kho-Kho. The military subjects like weapon training, Field Craft and Battle Craft, Map Reading, Armed Forces, Military History, introduction to infantry weapons were enjoyed and appreciated by the cadets who have come for the first time for a camp.

The interactive sessions of the stress management, drug abuse and prevention, communications, career counselling, leadership and team building, public speaking were empowering sessions to the young budding cadets. Exciting events like firing, tent pitching, self-defence and unarmed combat, flag area preparation, elocution and tent pitching competitions were the special features in the camp. A visit to Golconda Fort by all the cadets fostered the appreciation of historical importance and the Cultural Heritage of the City.

The Camp culminated with the grand ceremonial parade with the special Vanita Band display,The exclusive cultural extravaganza and Barakhana was the show window of the camp. The final closing ceremony with the issue of Camp Certificates and Rank Ceremony was carried out on 25th of May by giving the additional responsibilities to the senior cadets for the subunits of the BN and creating more number of leaders.

The ATC-VI camp conducted by1 Telangana Girls Bn NCC, Secunderabad marked the remarkable display of solidarity and empowerment. Under the guidance and supervision of the commanding officer, Lieutenant Colonel Sangeeta Kumari, and Administrative officer Major Chamundi M, commemorated with a series of impactful camp training events under the aegis of NCC, Gp HQ Secunderabad.

The camp traversed through the vibrant accommodation and balanced, sumptuous palate. This symbolic journey, led by the Alumni of the unit resonated with the essence of indomitable spirit and unwavering dedication to the empowerment of women highlights. The camp training atmosphere with a palpable sense of enthusiasm and determination instilled self-reliance among the cadets. Each step taken during the camp served as a testament to the collective resolve to uphold the principles and legacy continues to inspire generations of Girl Cadets of the Unit.

The success of the event was further amplified by the unwavering support and encouragement from the management of host school Pallavi International SchoolGandipet and authorities, who has extended their wholehearted support by providing the school premises for the conduct of 10 Day Camp.
