Telangana Handloom Minister Applauds Weavers on National Handloom Day

Hyderabad: Handloom and textiles minister Tummala Nageshwara Rao lauded the commitment and creativity of weavers and promised the state government's support for the sector. He said the sector represents the country’s rich heritage and traditions.

He greeted weavers on the occasion of National Handloom Day.

“We will ensure that handloom weavers get their due and render all help needed to them. Everyone should buy their products and stand by them,” he said.

He pointed out that buing handloom products will contribute to the development of rural areas.
