Bhubaneswar: A devastating tragedy struck Balakira village in Odisha on Saturday night when two young boys were fatally burnt while sitting near a bonfire. The victims, Krishna Bhoi (8) and Krishna Urma (7), were warming themselves near a heap of paddy straw when it unexpectedly caught fire, engulfing the area.
The boys, identified as Krishna Bhoi, son of Subala Bhoi, and Krishna Urma, son of Sanjit Urma, sustained severe burn injuries in the sudden blaze. Despite being rushed to the Baunsuni Community Health Centre, both were declared dead on arrival.
