Justice K. Manmadha Rao urges legal aid for mentally challenged persons and praises Ambika Sishu Kendra’s efforts during a Kurnool event

Kurnool: Administrative judge for Kurnool and Nandyal districts, Justice Dr K. Manmadha Rao, stressed the importance of utilising various laws designed to address the needs of mentally challenged persons to ensure swift justice. High Court judges K. Manmadha Rao and B.V.L.N. Chakravarthy attended a programme in Kurnool city on Saturday.
Justice Manmadha Rao highlighted the Free Legal Services Scheme 2005, which provides free legal aid for the care of mentally handicapped people. He praised Ambika Sishu Kendra for its dedicated services to mentally challenged individuals and urged them to continue their efforts.
The High Court judges inspected products made by the mentally challenged, such as bags, bookbinding, tailoring, packing, and printing, and congratulated them on their skills. District judge G. Kabardhi, DLSA secretary Leela Venkata Seshadri, additional district judges, and others also participated in the event.
