Agony Ashley: Tough being a bisexual
In this column, Ashley Tellis will answer Questions about relationships, sexual health and concerns about LOST population in India.
Q I am a bisexual and I have a girlfriend. I also want to have a boyfriend but I am scared my girlfriend will not accept it and will break up with me. What do you advise? — Gaurav, Delhi
It is not clear whether or not you have told your girlfriend that you are bisexual. If you have, there should be no problem as she would know that she is dating someone for whom it is impossible to be monogamous only with her. If you have not told her, you need to tell her, explain to her what it means and it may well be that she will dump you. But so what? What is the point of being with someone who does not accept who you are? You will then need to find a girlfriend who is okay with your being bisexual, preferably one who is bisexual herself.
My problem is that my orgasm/come too fast. It happens in one or two minutes. I want to elongate my period of erection. I am embarrassed about this and so have not had sex with my boyfriend yet. What do I do?
— Ravi, Kovalam, Tamil Nadu
Yours does not seem to be a case of premature ejaculation if it takes a minute or two. Start by relaxing when you masturbate or are having sex with your boyfriend. Take an hour or so masturbating by stopping before you reach climax. In sex with him as well, concentrate on foreplay, postpone the ejaculation and focus on other things. You should be fine soon enough.
