All of us are blessed with the ability to perceive, or “tap” our own inner voice at the drop of a thought. The further we listen to it, the more powerful it gets. The only downside is — we don’t tend to heed to its soundless sonority as frequently as we ought to. Blame it on the rigors of living, or lack of time, we aren’t always in sync with the “heartbeat” of our soul.

To cultivate and hone our inner voice, or soul, is a vision, or revelation — a long-awaited amplified purpose. It not only connects us to our divine essence, it also provides us with a sense of security in our journey through time. The best, or worst, part is we are habitually “driven” to scan and explore our inner voice in times of trouble. The more we pine for it, the more elusive it gets. Our inner voice is not an over-the-counter (OTC) product. It is an attribute, or facet, that we are all endowed with — each with an understanding rooted to one’s own conscious awareness, or essentiality. The more one is aware, the better it is to associate with one’s inner voice. When you reach the awareness plateau, not flat terrain, your inner voice envelops your psyche. It connects to what philosopher Plato called “divine frenzy,” or what modern psychologists refer to as the “flow” principle — a sense of insight, or being in the zone, to meeting challenges with good effect, or outcomes, and confronting the interminable
winds of change.

Everything, including the evolution of our inner voice, hinges on such a foundational process — the process of seeking answers to questions in life. Or, what may change our lives for the better. For such precepts to emerge, it takes resolve, not just intent. When this happens, it leads to what is called as the expansion process — a stage for garnering new ideas, insights, or intuitive leaps, and using them for upgrading our life and resolve through time. The two — foundation and expansion — processes are like tilling the field, planting the seed and reaping the yield. This is not just a metaphor. We too can, likewise, “plough” our inner voice, while relating ourselves to the cosmos, with a sense of sublime harvesting. This uplifts our vision and also mission for leading a life full of empathy, peace and harmony. It allows us to reach the pinnacle of acceptance too — that everything in the universe conforms to the theory of symmetry and orderliness, including the interrelatedness of all things, big and small.
This augments our mindfulness to its utmost level while helping us to scale the walls of our ego and awakening our inner voice for a higher purpose.
