Mystic Mantra: The effulgent resonance of life
It epitomises the tang of success, while nourishing the resonance of our inner voice, or soul, with divine insight — and not just intervention.
Vision is the whole kit and caboodle of life. It ignites our thoughts and originality. It also eases the monotony of everyday existence. It takes, in so doing, our ingenuity, including creativity, to its zenith — most often in our dreams, during the process of meditation and subsequently in our wakeful state. This relates to “mimesis,” or imitate, in Greek philosophy — and not just impression, or appearance, but also our perception and behaviour, with no real causative connection. Yet, they appear to be subtly allied. All of us would have gone through or experienced such thoughts. They occur in a manner born, they often leave us in awe, whether or not one believes in their essence.
The more we endeavour to decipher such tapped or untapped prowess, the more we “fuel” our sense of being, as also our creative abilities, while accepting the wisdom that life is a blessing. This eloquent voyage transforms our beliefs; it also helps us to purge our doubts, despair, anxieties and despondency, more so when difficulties, if not misfortunes, quiver us. You’d call this entire process as the art and science of life, not just existence — a picture-postcard that celebrates the idea of one being greater than one’s own personality. It “ups” our vision. It drives us not only to achieve, but also fulfil our topmost goals. It epitomises the tang of success, while nourishing the resonance of our inner voice, or soul, with divine insight — and not just intervention.
Just think of it — a lively classical music concert not only rivets the listeners’ attention when it is interspersed with the subtle, delicate nuances of a given note, or “raga”, it also takes the listener to the seventh heaven of their existence. The whole experience slowly expands — it also reaches the crescendo. Yet, in the midst of such beautiful melodies, there is tranquillity — a moment where time stands still. This brings us to the core of life as we know it, just as little moments convey certain feelings that “emote” a sense of happiness and fulfilment far more precious than gilded jewellery, or a fun-filled vacation on a picturesque, sylvan isle.
This holds a tangible presage to a latent idea — that each of us, no matter our profession, or vocation, is creatively unique, or distinctive. The inference is simple: Creativity is not just a smart tool, but also a vision that propels us and discloses our true self, while letting others know our talents and interests. This holds the key, no less, to finding the pedestal for showcasing our modest creative talents — not something brilliant, or dazzling, which is often the domain, or preserve, of great minds — for a purpose in our life, relationships and career.
