TRS to field Seemandhras in civic polls
The TRS had never in the past given Assembly tickets to Seemandhra settlers.

Hyderabad: For the first time in its 15 years of political existence, the TRS will choose 10 to 12 Seemandhra settlers as its candidates in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation polls.
As many as 140 applications have been received from Seemandhra settlers who wish to represent the ruling party which is contesting the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation polls the first time after 2004.

These candidates will be fielded in divisions dominated by Seemandhra settlers.The TRS had never in the past given Assembly tickets to Seemandhra settlers, while the Congress and the TD have had no such reservations.
