Smriti Irani to hold talks with party activists in Amethi
The two-day visit is aimed at motivating the party activists in view of 2017 Assembly polls.
Amethi: Human Resource Development Minister Smriti Irani, who will be visiting Amethi parliamentary constituency on January 16 and 17, will hold talks with party activists to boost their confidence for the 2017 Assembly polls.
Irani will meet party activists at a 'khichri bhoj' on campus of Pashupati Nath Vidyapeeth Inter College Tiloi on the first day of her visit.
Later, she will visit the central school at BHEL (Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited), Jagdishpur and RGIIIT (Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Information Technology) Tikarmafi at Amethi, HRD Minister's PRO, Vijay Gupta said.
On the second day, Irani will address party activists at Gauriganj followed by inauguration of smart classes in Navoday Vidyalaya at Gauriganj, Gupta added.
The two-day visit is aimed at motivating the party activists in view of 2017 Assembly polls, party president of district unit Durgesh Tripathi said.
Irani had unsuccessfully contested last Lok Sabha poll from Amethi against Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi.
