After completing a grand 50 days at the box office, the film First Rank Raju starring Gurunandan, directed by debutant Naresh Kumar, there are many already working hard on its sequel. The sequel will talk about politics laced with humour.

As the protagonist in First Rank Raju expresses his desire to join politics to bring a change in the present educational system, the director Naresh has revealed that Raju will enter politics in the sequel while retaining the original essence. The team celebrated the 50 days function by handing over a Rs 2 lakh bond to a few lucky parents of children born on November 27 — the day on which First Rank Raju was released.

The film which gave a fresh lease of life to Gurunandan, who has struggled after his initial films failed miserably, is in demand for its dubbing rights. Well, now Raju is talking about ‘politics’ after a fine success and we hope they do not remain just ‘promises,’ as many also ‘act’ at the time elections!
