VIJAYAWADA: A six-year-old boy, who suffered an electric shock, was miraculously recused from the clutches of death, due to swift action by city doctor Nannapuneni Ravali. She performed Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), the emergency life-saving procedure, to save the boy’s life.

The boy Sai suffered an electric shock at home and fell unconscious on May 5. He was being taken to hospital by his father on his shoulders.

Dr Ravali quickly began performing the life-saving CPR procedure on the boy and helped him regain his consciousness. He was then shifted to a private hospital for further treatment.

A video of the doctor performing CPR on the boy went viral on social media platforms on Friday, drawing praise for her from all quarters.
