Alliance Government Will Take Measures To Address the Concerns of Village Volunteers: HM Anita
Visakhapatnam: State home minister Vangalapudi Anitha said measures would be taken shortly to address the concerns of village volunteers. The minister emphasised that the government has deliberated on the issue of village volunteers, particularly noting that their contracts have not been renewed after 2023. The home minister assured the volunteers that the Alliance government was committed to addressing their issues.
Addressing the gathering at the Idi Manchi Prabhutvam programme in Payakaraopeta on Friday, Anitha said significant improvements were taking place in administrative processes in the state. She also highlighted the government’s efforts to expedite administrative tasks, particularly the issuance of pensions.
Anitha credited the NDA alliance with releasing sufficient funds for the Polavaram project.
Furthermore, Anitha expressed concerns over corruption in panchayats during the previous government’s tenure. She said the present alliance government’s commitment in restoring the integrity of gram panchayats.
She assured the gathering of laying a double road in Payakaraopeta and pledged to establish a grievance cell in every village to address local issues.
Anitha said, “Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has worked hard during the Vijayawada floods. His unwavering dedication to serving the people is remarkable.”
