Kakinada: Capital Amaravati will be among one of three world-class cities, urban and municipal development minister P. Narayana declared here on Tuesday.

Speaking to media after holding a coordination meeting within the ruling alliance partners here, he said on October 29, a committee of chief engineers submitted its report on tenders for building the capital at Amaravati.

Following this, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has instructed officials concerned to invite tenders by December and complete construction of capital Amaravati city within three years.

The minister said World Bank will loan ₹15,000 crore for constructing Amaravati. Building bungalows for ministers, judges and officials will cost ₹41,000 crore. He pointed out that works on the capital have already begun with ₹30,000 crore.

Narayana underlined that the Chief Minister is trying to streamline the economy of the state.

He called upon NDA alliance leaders to ensure the win of graduate MLC candidate from East and West Godavari Perabathula Rajasekhar.
