Visakhapatnam: Anakapalli police apprehended two suspects, solving three theft cases, including a house burglary on August 27 in Salapuvanipalem village. The accused, Vaddadi Polaraju (45) and Chinamana Ellaji (32), were arrested at Lankelapalem junction on Tuesday night.

District Superintendent of Police, Deepika Patil, revealed that approximately 7 ¾ tolas of gold and 20 grams of silver were stolen from Vantaku Eruku Naidu’s residence while he was at work. Upon the suspects' confession, gold items were recovered from Nalla Venkatesh, who had purchased the stolen property.

In total, around 17 tolas of gold worth ₹12 lakh were recovered, including 6 ¾ tolas from the Parawada Police Station jurisdiction, 5 ¼ tolas from Anakapalli, and 5 tolas from other sources.
