 Vijayawada: A Cabinet meeting of the Andhra Pradesh government, chaired by Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, is scheduled for August 27 at the State Secretariat at Velagapudi in Amaravati. Chief secretary, Neerabh Kumar Prasad, issued an circular regarding this meeting.

The Cabinet is expected to discuss the implementation of the 2024 Super Six joint manifesto and the fulfilment of poll promises, including the relaunch of Anna Canteens. The issue of providing free travel to women in RTC buses, a key election promise, is also likely to be addressed.

Neerabh Kumar Prasad has requested that all special chief secretaries, principal secretaries, and secretaries to the government submit their proposals in the prescribed format to the general administration (Cabinet) department by 4 pm on August 23 2024.
