Andhra Pradesh: Coalition Govt’s 6 Months of Governance Achieves Nothing, YSRC
Vijayawada: YSR Congress NTR district president Devineni Avinash has criticised the coalition government for indulging in political theatrics and blame games instead of prioritising public welfare. Avinash accused the coalition leaders of shielding their own failures by targeting former chief minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy with false allegations.
He highlighted misleading accusations, such as the alleged rice smuggling from Kakinada Port, questioning how such activities could occur under NDA-led state and central governments. Avinash pointed out that Kakinada’s Anchorage Port is government-run, while the Deep Sea Port was privatised during Chandrababu Naidu’s tenure in 1999.
Avinash lambasted the coalition for failing to monitor customs and checkposts effectively, calling it a sign of administrative incompetence. He contrasted this with YSRC's home-delivered ration scheme, branding the coalition’s "Super 6 promises" as deceptive election tactics. He concluded that six months of coalition governance had achieved little beyond targeting Jagan Reddy and neglecting public needs.

Veerraju lauds Pawan for acting tough against illegal transport of PDS rice
BJP national executive committee member Somu Veerraju commended Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan for inspecting Kakinada Port and ordering the seizure of a ship involved in the illegal transport of public distribution system (PDS) rice.
Addressing the media during the BJP’s ‘Varadhi’ grievance programme, Veerraju criticised the previous government for enabling illegal exports of PDS rice, which he claimed betrayed both the poor and farmers. He revealed that he had earlier informed former Chief Minister Jagan Reddy of alleged involvement by a former Kakinada MLA’s family.
Veerraju praised Pawan Kalyan’s firm stance and civil supplies minister Nadendla Manohar’s efforts to curb such malpractice, asserting that the NDA government would not tolerate such illegal activities.
