The minister said police investigating the case have identified a suspect and arrested him. He has been taken into custody at Rentachintala, he said, adding the accused would be booked under POCSO and would be sternly dealt with.
On Tuesday, Parthasarathy visited the victim who is undergoing treatment at old government general hospital in Vijayawada and enquired about her health.
