Andhra Pradesh: Women Cops Help Save Snake-Bitten Woman’s Life

 Visakhapatnam: Two female police officers from Gara Police Station in Srikakulam district received praise for their swift and life-saving actions during a midnight emergency. On Friday, at around 12.30 am, a woman approached the police station seeking help after being bitten by a snake while returning home from work.

Constable Usha Rani and home guard Rajya Lakshmi immediately contacted emergency medical services and accompanied the woman to a nearby primary health centre. Their prompt intervention and administration of first aid were crucial in saving the woman's life.

SP K.V. Maheswara Reddy commended the officers for their bravery and dedication, emphasising their exemplary service and commitment to the community's safety and well-being.
