AP: Bagchi takes charge as Fire Services DG

Speaking on the occasion, he vowed to take strict action against departmental officers or staff members or any other fire equipment provider / mediator / broker in case they demand a bribe for providing departmental services like issue of no objection and fire attendance certificates, among others.

He asked citizens to alert him by calling 94409 06254 or send an SMS / WhatsApp message to the same number, along with the relevant video or audio recording at any time of the day or night.

Bagchi assured to keep the name and particulars of persons who give such information confidential.
