AP CM Naidu Helps Two Men With Electric Scooters

Vijayawada:Based on the assurance given by Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu during the grama sabha held at Vanapalli village on Aug. 23, two people got electric scooters on Saturday.

The CM Naidu addressed the people at the gram sabha as part of a state-wide programme held at Vanapalli village of Kothapeta mandal in Dr B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema district. The CM promised two men with electric scooters when they approached him for help.

Accordingly, the Konaseema district collector R. Mahesh Kumar handed over two electric scooters costing `1.5 lakh each to Illa Bhagavan, a differently abled person hailing from Vanapalli village, and Chinthapalli Naga Malleswara Kiran, hailing from Vadapalem village, at the Collectorate in Amalapuram.

Earlier, the district transport department officials held a riding test for the two, confirmed their riding skills and gave them the options for scooter colour. Then they were handed over the scooters of their choice. The two beneficiaries profusely thanked the CM for the scooters on the very next day of their request and expressed their gratitude.
