AP Digital Technology Summit in Vizag From Jan. 8

Visakhapatnam: Andhra Pradesh is gearing up to host the inaugural edition of the AP Digital Technology Summit in Visakhapatnam on January 8 and 9. Organised by the AP Digital Technology Industry (APDTI) leadership forum, with support from the government of Andhra Pradesh and the Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), the event will be held at the VMRDA Children Arena in Siripuram.

Themed "Shaping the Future: Empowering Andhra Pradesh through Innovation, DeepTech Skills, and Convergence," the summit will spotlight the state’s digital strengths and Vizag’s potential as a hub for technology investments and advancements.

This landmark summit will focus on seven key digital technology sectors: IT, ITeS, AI and Emerging Technologies, Electronics, Smart and Sustainable Technologies (Industry 4.0), Med and HealthTech, and Creative Tech (AVGC). The event aims to foster innovation, deep tech skill development, and convergence in these industries.

IT minister Nara Lokesh will inaugurate the summit on January 8, accompanied by minister for MSME Kondapalli Srinivas. Former Union Minister of State Rajeev Chandrasekhar will inaugurate Day 2 and deliver a keynote address on electronics and semiconductors.

Day 1 sessions will focus on Generative AI, VFX, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, and Low Code/No Code Development, while Day 2 will address Electronics/Semiconductors, Edge AI, Industry 4.0, Med and HealthTech, and Startups/Innovation. The event will host prominent Indian and global speakers from leading multinational corporations, making it a significant occasion for the technology industry.

Sreedhar Kosaraju, convener of the AP Digital Technology Industry Leadership Forum (AP DTILF), highlighted the summit’s objectives: “The summit seeks to position Andhra Pradesh among the top five ecosystems in the country by 2030, create a robust deep tech skilling ecosystem, attract investments and talent, and offer B2B networking opportunities for AP-based companies. Exceptional startups in sector-specific deep tech will be recognised, with eligible ventures receiving opportunities to secure funding from venture capitalists and angel investors.”
