AP to Implement Revised Property Registration Rates from January 1
Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh government is set to implement revised property registration rates with an reportedly increase of 10-15% across both rural and urban areas starting from January 1, 2025. In addition to the registration rates, structural values will also undergo revisions. The district committees, under the supervision of the district joint collector will approve proposals for the rate revisions, which will be displayed on the notice boards of sub-registrar offices by December 20.
Public suggestions and objections will be accepted until December 24, and will be reviewed by December 27. The State Registration and Stamps Department has directed the district registrars to take necessary steps to implement the new rates in line with government guidelines.
