Appala Naidu Pledges His First Month’s Salary for Amaravati Development

 Tirupati: Vizianagaram Member of Parliament, Kalisetti Appala Naidu, announced that he has decided to donate his entire first month's salary, including all allowances, towards the development of Amaravati, the new capital city of Andhra Pradesh.

Naidu, along with his family members, offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala on Sunday. Speaking to reporters on the occasion, Naidu said he sought the Lord's blessings for the progress of two major projects in the state - Polavaram and Amaravati.

The MP stated that he felt immense joy in deciding to contribute his first salary towards the development of Amaravati. He said it is his responsibility as an Andhra citizen to support the growth of the new state capital. The MP expressed his gratitude to the people of the Vizianagaram constituency for electing him to Parliament, attributing his success to the divine blessings of Lord Balaji.

Naidu further mentioned that he prayed for the Lord's blessings upon Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu to lead Andhra Pradesh on the path of development, making it a model state in the country. He also sought the deity's blessings for a harmonious relationship between the Central and state governments.
