A.R. Rahman participates in Kadapa Dargah Urs celebrations
ANANTAPUR: The Kadapa Ameen Peer Pedda Dargah Urs celebrations began with great fervor on Saturday night, following the Gandothsavam procession. Devotees, led by the Dargah's pontiff Arifulla Hussaini, brought offerings of Mulang and participated in a procession to the dargah. The Gandham ceremony, a key part of the Urusu, was conducted with a procession and the presentation of the Chadar.
Bollywood music director AR Rahman also participated in the event, offering a Chadar and prayers at the dargah. Kadapa MLA Sridevi and several district officials also attended and offered their prayers as part of the ongoing celebrations.
Large crowds of devotees from across the state gathered to take part in the celebrations, which included vibrant Qawwali performances that captivated the attendees. The district administration made arrangements to manage the influx of visitors.
