Satyala Anjana Priya, a student of AU University's Law College, has addressed letters to 140 alliance MLAs, requesting them to discuss in AP Legislative Assembly the injustices perpetrated by current Andhra University vice chancellor P.V.G.D. Prasad Reddy.

She had previously taken up the issue with Governor Abdul Nazeer, Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and HRD minister Nara Lokesh.
Anjana Priya told Deccan Chronicle that Prasad Reddy has transformed AU into a commercial enterprise, constructing various buildings and charging exorbitant rents.
She accused the vice chancellor of substantially increasing fee charged from the students for various services.
Anjana Priya called for a CBI inquiry or judicial investigation into the actions of Prasad Reddy.
