AU VC Prasad Reddy must not step out of his house, warns MLA Vamsi Yadav

Visakhapatnam: Vamsi Krishna Yadav, the Jana Sena MLA, has warned Andhra University vice-chancellor Prof Prasad Reddy against stepping out of his house. Prasad Reddy “misused” the Andhra University premises, the MLA alleged.

Addressing the media here on Monday, Yadav said, "Prasad Reddy never behaved like a university VC. He turned AU into a YSRC office, worked as Jagan's agent and destroyed North Andhra. He spread false propaganda against the opposition leaders. The VC will be replaced in a month."

Turning to civic issues, Vamsi Yadav acknowledged the travel difficulties faced by the residents of Visakhapatnam along the Jagadamba - Purnamarket road. “We will do the needful soon,” he said.

The MLA announced plans to modernise the drainage system in Visakha South. He claimed to possess evidence on Visakha TDR transactions, wherein fraudulent land deeds were executied near Shriram Properties at Yendada. He has also claimed that MVV City Apartment has encroached government land.

Vamsi Yadav said he would bring every wrong deeds of MVV to the attention of Pawan Kalyan and Chandrababu Naidu. “If MVV targets me personally, there will be action for action.”
