Visakhapatnam: An innovative Ganesha will be erected in Visakhapatnam as part of the Vinayaka Chavithi celebrations. Peraapu Raju, the head of a private shopping mall, is planning to celebrate Vinayaka Chavithi with a set of the Ayodhya Ram Temple this time. Last year, Raju gained attention in the two Telugu states for making a 'Chocolate Ganesha idol'. He now aims to grab the city dwellers' attention by placing 'Bala Ganapati' at the Ayodhya Ram Temple set at MVP Colony Double Road. He has already started arranging the upcoming Ganesh festival on land owned by MLA Vishnukumar Raju.

Raju has engaged artists to create paintings at the entrance to depict scenes from the Ramayana. A 100-foot-wide and 60-foot-high Ayodhya set will be built on two acres of land that have already been leveled. Raju has clarified that he is obtaining permission from the government to conduct pujas with the Ayodhya Ram Temple set. To begin the arrangements, Raju performed a special pooja on Ekadashi. The Vizag Ayodhya Ram Temple set will showcase two Ganesha idols: a large Ganesha made of clay and a Bala Ganapati made with soil from Ayodhya. Raju told Deccan Chronicle, “After 21 days of worship, we will donate the idol of Bala Ganapati to any of the village temples.”
