Bapatla: Differently-able youth climbs on engine carriage of train

VIJAYAWADA: A differently-able youth caused a commotion when he climbed on the engine carriage of Gudur - Vijayawada Intercity Express at Bapatla railway station on Saturday.
According to reports, the youth, who was waiting on the platform, climbed onto the top of the engine carriage from the front side of train when it halted at Bapatla railway station.
Alarmed by the youth’s actions, the railway police immediately stopped power supply to the live wires to prevent any accidents and safely brought the youth down from the engine carriage.
As a result, the intercity express was delayed for about 20 minutes at Bapatla railway station. The police shifted the youth to Balasadan and launched a probe to determine his identity based on his Aadhar card.
